Authorities Confirm Bismarck Sighting of Missing GF County Woman

GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - There has been a confirmed sighting of a Grand Forks County woman missing for more than a week.

GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - There has been a confirmed sighting of a Grand Forks County woman missing for more than a week.

82-year-old Florence Dumontet was last seen on Sunday, October 16 with her pet poodle at the MVP Conoco Service Station off I-94 in Bismarck.

She left Grand Forks in her black Lincoln LT pickup truck to visit relatives in Washington state.

The Grand Forks Sheriff's Department has received nearly 80 calls about the missing woman and is now working with the FBI to find her.

Duemontet was last seen wearing a white jacket, black slacks and black shoes.

The license plate on her vehicle is HXY-089.

"It doesn't happen that often and when it does happen, the person usually turns up in a short period of time. It's been well over a week now (and) nobody's heard from Mrs. Dumontet since she left Grand Forks," Sgt. Dan Hillebrand said.
