New, Higher-quality Video Boards Installed at REA Just in Time For Sioux Hockey

GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - Sioux hockey fans will see the game a little clearer on new video boards at the Ralph Engelstad Arena.

GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - Sioux hockey fans will see the game a little clearer on new video boards at the Ralph Engelstad Arena.

One of the boards was damaged during a fire in July leading to installation of newer boards.

After 10 years, the new boards have sharper images and a brighter display picture.

The boards were installed just in time for the Sioux hockey game Saturday night.

"Upgraded video boards have been on the wishlist for many years but it's obviously a very big expense and investment," REA director of events Chris Semrau said.

The score boards are 9 feet by 16 feet and show live action and video replays during games.
