Cowboys Storm EGF Banks as Part of Elaborate Fundraiser
EAST GRAND FORKS, MN (WDAZ-TV) - A group of horseback-riding, bank-robbing cowboys made off with $9,000 Wednesday.
EAST GRAND FORKS, MN (WDAZ-TV) - A group of horseback-riding, bank-robbing cowboys made off with $9,000 Wednesday.
No need to worry, though. It was all part of a fundraiser.
The money collected will help kick-off and fund the East Grand Forks 125th celebration.
The posse rode to three banks in town: U.S. Bank, Frandsen Bank and Trust and American Federal each donating $3,000.
The group of bank robbers had fun raising the money and getting into character.
The 125th celebration is next August.
