UND Football Game at Idaho to be Televised Regionally
GRAND FORKS, N.D. — Saturday afternoon’s University of North Dakota football game at Idaho will be televised live on cable in the Dakotas and northwest Minnesota. The game will be carried on Midcontinent Communications’ Midco Sports Net3 throughout North and South Dakota and northwestern Minnesota, and by Cable One in Fargo.
Midcontinent Communications’ Midco Sports Net3 is seen on channel 323 in North and South Dakota and northwestern Minnesota and on channel 413 in International Falls and Fairmont, Minnesota. The broadcast will begin at 4 p.m. and is being produced by SWX out of Spokane, Wash., with Bill Ames calling the play-by-play and John Fritz providing the color commentary.
This will be the second straight season the Fighting Sioux and Vandals have met in the Kibbie Dome and Idaho will be the first of two consecutive FBS Western Athletic Conference schools UND will play. The Sioux travel to Fresno State the following Saturday for a tilt against the Bulldogs.
Idaho beat UND in the 2010 season opener, 45-0. The Sioux enter Saturday's game with a 1-0 record, while Idaho is 0-1.
