St. Paul, MN (WDAY TV) - It's was exactly two years ago that Minnesota hockey fans rejoiced the signings of Zach Parise and Ryan Sutter.

After signing Thomas Vanek just three days ago, many Wild fans have higher hopes than the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

But the biggest cause for concern may come from between the pipes; Minnesota used 5 different net minders last season, but with that said, they think they are still in pretty good shape moving forward.

Mike Greenlay/Wild TV Analyst: “Nik Backstom and how he is able to get healthy from some of the surgeries he's had, reportedly he feels good and hopefully he can get some training this summer and have a good training camp and then come back is the number one goaltender.  Josh Harding is obviously a question mark but we have seen he can be a number one goaltender as well so if he can get his health right he's another option which is terrific. And on top of that you have Darcy Kuemper a young talented goaltender who is probably the goaltender of the future for the Wild. Even though there is a lot of question marks with their goaltending it still sits pretty well knowing they have 3 guys to carry the mail.”
