Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) - Seven years after a car accident almost took his life a UND student hosted a book signing for his book that chronicles his near-death experience.

Benjamin Hylden, a Park River native, signed his book "Finding Faith in the Field" for dozens of people Saturday at Ferguson Books in Grand Forks.

Hylden was on his way to an appointment in Park River when he lost control of his car on ice, flipped it, and was thrown out the passenger side door.

He plunged face first into an icy field; Hylden says signing his book for people has brought him full circle in sharing his inspirational message that God was looking out for him.

Benjamin Hylden/"Finding Faith in the Field" Author: "It's a different experience but at the same time it's really fun just to share God's glory and his love with people so it's a lot of fun."

Hylden says he hopes his book will lead him to a career in inspirational speaking.
