Two vehicle crash south of Hawley sends two to hospital Thursday night
Hawley, MN (WDAY TV) - A two vehicle crash south of Hawley sent two people to the hospital Thursday night.
It happened around 5 Thursday night seven miles south of Hawley at the intersection of County Road 10 and 31.
Authorities say one of the vehicles didn't stop at a stop sign causing the crash.
Both vehicles have serious damage.
One car ended up in a slough.
Lt. Steve Todd/Clay County Sheriff's Office: “There were two people transported for injuries one out of each vehicle. There were two children in one vehicle and they didn't appear to be injured. The injuries appear to be non-life threatening and both were speaking to us while they were attended to.”
Lt. Todd says safety features on modern cars like the ones involved are a big part in both parties walking away with non-life threatening injuries.
