Sunday Afternoon/Evening Forecast Discussion
Good Afternoon, and Happy Father's Day! Well we started off with a lot of rain across the area, but that is winding down, however, there are a few showers redeveloping. We'll see these showers move through during the evening, but will end early tonight. The clouds will clear out during the night. Lows will be in the lower 50s, with a southwest wind at 5-15 mph. Monday will be a sunny to partly cloudy day, and it will be warmer! There is a chance that we could see a few thunderstorms developing during the afternoon. Main threat for severe thunderstorms will be well to the south. Highs will be in the upper 70s and lower 80s, with a south wind at 10-20 mph.
For those hoping for a nice, dry week, I've got some bad news for you. It looks like this unsettled weather pattern will continue through the entire work week. There is a chance for rain each day, but not everyone will see it. The best chance for showers and thunderstorms will be Wednesday into Thursday, when more heavy rainfall is possible.
Drier weather will return for next weekend, with highs in the 70s, close to 80.
Have a great week!
