Summer and Fall allergy season going strong right now
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - It's that time of year again when most allergy sufferers feel the pain.
Summer allergens like ragweed and grass pollen are still around and Fall allergens like mold are just getting going.
With school just around the corner, doctors warn parents to watch for cold like symptoms lasting more than two weeks and if you're suffering from those symptoms, to get tested, because untreated, allergies can result in bigger problems.
Dr Woei Eng/ Sanford Allergy/Asthma Specialist: "Not only allergy is... is it allergy only, it also provoke asthma symptoms as well. So, people who have active allergy symptoms can have asthma exacerbation too."
To prevent allergy flare-ups doctors say to keep your windows closed and wash your clothes often because pollens can travel for miles with the wind.
