Email News Alerts

A thunderstorm formed near Christine, ND, around 3 pm on the afternoon of June 20.  the storm quickly began rotating, forming a funnel cloud which was visible from miles around.  The storm tracked east toward Pelican Rapids, then curved southeast, passing out of Otter Tail County south of Wadena.  Although a wall cloud was visible and funnel clouds formed a few times, the storm never made a tornado.  There were many great photographs made of the storm.
