Soldiers working to bring Iraqi interpreter's family to the U.S.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A Minnesota Iraqi war vet has started a fund to get a man's family out of harms way and into the U.S. Tuesday, Paul Braun and his former interpreter from Iraq, Philip, were at WDAY talking with Christopher Gabrielon AM 970 to campaign for their fundraiser called "Philip Saved American Soldiers"2 / 2

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A Minnesota Iraqi war vet has started a fund to get a man's family out of harms way and into the U.S.

Tuesday, Paul Braun and his former interpreter from Iraq, Philip, were at WDAY talking with Christopher Gabriel on AM 970 to campaign for their fundraiser called "Philip Saved American Soldiers"

While in Iraq, Philip helped saved the lives of soldiers like Braun and because of his help he and his family are in danger.

Their fundraiser's purpose is to reunite Philip with his family in the U.S.

As of today they've raised over $2,300 out of their $20,000 goal.

Paul Braun/ Started Fundraiser: "He took care of us, again, when we were there so we could come home to our families and we just want to be able to do the same things now in return for him.
