Road construction beginning along 28th Avenue and south Washington Street intersection Monday in Grand Forks
Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) - Important information for those driving in Grand Forks.
Starting Monday construction work will close access to the 28th Avenue and south Washington Street intersection.
Crews will be converting the intersection from existing traffic signals to newly installed signals.
The project is expected to take two to three days.
During that time period drivers will not have access to south Washington.
Michael Yavarow/Grand Forks Principal Engineer: “When they start Monday morning the cross traffic at 28th will not be able to get onto Washington Street. So they will either have to turn north or south on the frontage road.”
Similar closures will happen throughout the next several weeks as crews convert traffic signals at several intersections on south Washington Street.
