RedHawks look to get back in win column against Gary tonight
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - The F-M RedHawks might feel like they've taken one to many rides on the tilt awhirl.
The RedHawks are in a downward spiral having lost 10 of their last 12.
Sunday afternoon was the tip of the iceberg, when Winnipeg scored 10 runs in the ninth inning to beat the Hawks at home, 14-4.
Doug Simunic's squad had the day off yesterday, before beginning another 3-game set with Gary tonight.
The players are hoping the short break, will help them get back to what they do best.
Sawyer Carroll/RedHawks Outfielder: “Off days are always beneficial, let your body heal a little bit, get some rest, but I think psychologically yeah I think it can definitely play a big role in to our team as a whole.”
Petey Paramore/RedHawks Catcher: “This is probably about the rock bottom for us, especially with the talent we have we know we are going to be able to win some games. We just got to start putting it together and take it one at a time. With the bats we have in this lineup we are gonna score some runs, we got some great pitching we are gonna be able to shut some people out we just hope we can do it at the same time and get a little streak together.”
