They had a nerd stat on their side; the RedHawks are 9-0 this season in series openers.

They were hoping to smother Rockland with ketchup and relish tonight.

The Boulders grabbed an early 3-0 lead, but veteran Zach Penprase cuts into the lead in the 3rd, look out kids, the solo shot is the 3rd homer of the year for Penprase, and it's a 3-1 game after 3 innings.

Trailing 4-1 in the 5th, the Hawks begin to rally with 2 outs, CJ Retherford at the plate; he drives in his team-leading 25th run of the season.

Nic Jackson drives in one to make it 4-3, then bases full for Tim Alberts, who keeps the rally going with a single. 2 more runs score, the RedHawks take their first lead at 5-4.

They end up winning on a walk-off hit for the 5th time this season, CJ Retheford is the hero, again, in the bottom of the 11th.
