Primus cancels September 16th concert in Fargo

Fargo, ND - An upcoming Primus concert in Fargo has been canceled because of illness, promoter Jade Presents announced Wednesday.

The band canceled its Sept. 16 performance at The Venue in Fargo, as well as two other shows this fall. All credit and debit card purchases will be refunded automatically, while all other transactions can be refunded at the point of purchase with the ticket and photo ID.

Primus released a statement saying the band’s drummer, Tim “Herb” Alexander, suffered a heart attack July 15 and underwent a triple bypass surgery July 21. He’s now home resting, and will be ready to continue performing in October.
