NDSU begins third week of fall camp

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - NDSU began week 3 of fall camp this morning inside the Fargodome with preparations for Iowa State about to ramp up.

One true freshman will be making the trip to Ames, as we told you on Friday, wide receiver RJ Urzendowski will have his redshirt pulled, Urzendowski has impressed since arriving in Fargo and because of nagging injuries to Zach Vraa and Trevor Gebhart, he's been on the field more.

R.J. Urzendowski/NDSU Freshman Wide Receiver: “The game is a lot faster first of all and then learning a lot more it's obviously a whole new system, lot thrown at me, learn really quickly and go fast cause the game comes at you so fast.”

Chris Klieman/NDSU Head Coach: “RJ just got a lot of snaps, proved to us he can pick up offense and didn't drop any balls, he made plays, made plays on corners that have played a lot of games for us and we thought mentally he was ready.”
