National speaker Terry Gips encourages people in Fargo to think about sustaining our community
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A group is encouraging people in Fargo to think about sustaining our community.
Terry Gips is a nationally renowned speaker and has a background in ecology, economy and environmental leadership.
He spoke to people Tuesday night about living with a lighter eco-footprint.
He says the benefits affect more than just our environment, it helps our economy.
“By properly inflating your tires, by driving the speed limit and by avoiding sudden stops and starts you can save 25% on your fuel bill immediately,” says sustainability speaker Terry Gips.
Attendees also learned about the F-M Urban Oasis Project. That effort is aimed at revitalizing some of Moorhead's historic buildings.
