Moorhead Girl With Spina Bifida To Hold Lemonade Stand For Non-Profit

2 / 2

If you're looking for an afternoon snack on Tuesday, you might want to try a lemonade stand in Moorhead. A little girl with Spina Bifida is putting it on to raise money for other sick children.

Addie Loerzel is throwing what she calls a Pretty Princess Lemonade Stand and Bake Sale. All the proceeds go to the Sunshine Foundation, an organization that helps make dreams come true for sick children.  Addie herself was helped by the Sunshine Foundation and wants to make sure other kids can too.

Addie’s mom, Marisa Bengtson-Loerzel says, “We got to go to Florida and meet all the Disney princesses. Her favorite one was Bell. We thought we'd like to pay it forward and give back to the sunshine foundation.”

The stand is at Edge Fitness in Moorhead from 3:30 to 5:30 Tuesday afternoon. If you're busy or have to work, good news, they deliver! You can order by calling Marissa at 701-371-0796.
