Monday Morning Forecast Discussion
Good morning, and happy Monday! For many of us, the day is starting off on a wet and foggy note. Scattered showers are still pushing east and thick fog has developed over western and central Minnesota. As the morning continues, the fog will lift and the showers will lighten. There is a chance for redevelopment this afternoon and maybe an isolated thunderstorm, although severe weather is not expected. Temperatures today will depend on cloud cover and how much sunshine we see.
Wind: NW 5-15 mph
The upper low will start to move out allowing much of the area to dry out overnight. Some places may see a lingering shower or even an isolated thunderstorm. Temperatures will remain fairly mild with a partly to mostly cloudy sky. Wind will be light out of the northwest.
Wind: NW 5-10 mph
Tuesday and Wednesday look to be beautiful as a high pressure system moves into the area making way for a partly cloudy sky and average temperatures. The next best chance for rain looks to be Wednesday evening into Thursday morning. Cooler air will move in Thursday and highs will drop into the mid to lower 70s by the end of this week and weekend.
Have a great start to the work week!
