Missing NDSCS Student Killed By Gunshot Wound To Head
Autopsy results show missing North Dakota State College of Science student, Andrew Sadek, was killed by a gunshot wound to the head. NDSCS received the final autopsy results Saturday. The manner of death has not been determined. A toxicology drug screen on Sadek’s body was negative.
Sadek was last seen leaving Nordgaard Hall on the NDSCS campus around 2AM on Thursday, May 1st. He was reported missing one day later. Extensive ground, air and water searches for Sadek were conducted in the following weeks. Sadek’s body was recovered from the Red River near Breckenridge on June 27th.
The case remains under investigation, due to the unknown manner of death. Police say they believe there is no threat to the campus or the community.
