Material for meth lab, 4-year-old found in Thompson man’s home
Thompson, ND (WDAY TV) - A Thompson man is in custody, after the Grand Forks county Sheriff's department found meth lab materials in his garage.
33-year-old James David Hume is charged with making meth, child neglect and having meth paraphernalia.
32-year-old Amanda Lee Rocha - who also lived at the home - was later arrested for child neglect.
The sheriff's department went to Hume's home for a probation search Wednesday and found a 14-year-old girl babysitting a 4-year-old girl.
Agents searched the home and found meth lab items in the garage.
LT. BJ Mason/Grand Forks Sheriff's Department: “Lot of the search was focused in the garage area keeping the children away from that scene.”
The children are now in custody of Grand Forks County Social Services.
