Jamestown, ND - A man was allegedly stabbed after an altercation with a woman Friday around 2:15 p.m. at Lakeside Marina and Campground north of Jamestown.
Stutsman County Sheriff Chad Kaiser said he didn’t have a lot of information as the investigation into the incident is ongoing. The victim was transported by Jamestown Area Ambulance to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center and then air lifted to Sanford Hospital in Fargo. Kaiser said the victim was in surgery as of 5:50 p.m., and he didn’t know the man’s condition.
The suspect, a woman who was allegedly at the campsite with the victim, was taken into custody.
Kaiser said deputies and officers with the North Dakota Bureau of Investigation were still on the scene as of 6 p.m. waiting on search warrants so they could search the camper and vehicle at the site of the incident.
