Kyle Rudolph ready for 2014 season after missing part of 2013 with injury
Minneapolis, MN (WDAY TV) - One reason the Vikings offense struggled at times last season was the absence of Kyle Rudolph in the second half.
Rudolph comes into this season healed and healthier than ever.
His pocketbook may be much heavier after signing a $36.5 million contract extension last weekend.
But he comes into the season nearly 20 pounds lighter on the scale.
Kyle Rudolph/Vikings Tight End: “Turn on the tape. I think that's the biggest measuring stick when you watch the tape. For me personally I can feel it, whether it's getting in and out of breaks, straight line speed don't notice a whole lot. Getting in and out of breaks it's extremely important in this offense the way Norv coaches routes. It's different than what we've done in the past and definitely being lighter has helped.”
