June Weather is the Worst
June is, arguably (I suppose), the worst month of the year for weather.
Granted, snow is extremely rare in June so if snow is your bane of existence then June is probably not your least favorite month.
But consider these items. In our area, it rains an average more than 30 per cent of the days.
Many of those rains are trace rains, but many of those traces are more substantial nearby, meaning there is a legitimate chance of rain about one day in three.
This is more precipitation days than in any other month. June also brings our greatest chance of tornadoes. The terrible F5 Fargo tornado in 1957 happened on June 20.
June typically brings a few days with high temperatures in the 50s and several more in the 60s. Of the three summer months, June has the least summerlike weather.
From my personal perspective, June weather is the most disappointing of the year. - Meteorologist John Wheeler
