Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) - Grounds crews at Village Green golf course in Moorhead are cleaning up after a high-speed chase.

Police say 33-year-old Kendall Feist of Bismarck drove right through several greens and fairways last night.

I'm standing in the spot where clearly Feist drove from the street; through this field behind me, then right onto the fairway at Village Green.

Grounds crews spent the morning cleaning up, but tell me they expected the damages to be much worse.

Only a few holes were torn up, mainly from tire tracks from both Feist's truck and the three police vehicles following him.

People working here tell me the course was pretty full of golfers at the time- one who even pulled out his cell phone and captured incredible video of the chase.

“I saw the video, yep.”

Reporter: “What was it like watching that?”

Mike Schroeder/Village Green Asst. Superintendent: “It was pretty crazy, especially for the golfers out here to see that coming down ya know? A truck with three cop cars behind it.”

Crews here say they've already fixed most of the damages; but may have to plant some grass seed later this week.

Meanwhile, Moorhead police have launched an internal investigation of that pursuit.

Lieutenant Tory Jacobson says they're compiling video and reports to determine whether officers acted appropriately and they're reviewing their vehicle pursuit policy.
