Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - After last night’s 4 - 1 loss to the Winnipeg Goldeyes, the F-M RedHawks have now lost 6 straight to their archrivals to the North.

Saturday night they tried to end that streak by sending ace Jake Laber to the mound. Laber had his own shot at history at Newman.

With a win the Fargo product would tie, Greg Salvavold for the most wins in franchise history with 45.

But that win will have to wait, Goldeyes up 1-0 in the third and they add another on this sac fly from Donnie Webb bringing in Ryan Pineda.

Winnipeg extends the lead again in the 4th, Tyler Kuhn laces this down the right field line, two runners come in on the triple to make it 4-0. This kid thinks that stinks.

8-0 now in the sixth, RedHawks trying to start a late comeback, Ronnie Bourquin gives this one a ride over the right field fence for the three run homer.

Hawks add another late run but Winnipeg wins 8-4, the Goldeyes have won 10 straight and go for the sweep Sunday.
