56-year-old Rocky Zahrowski of Gary, Minnesota was sentenced today in court- where he is charged with nine different counts.

Family of one of Zahrowski's victims was in court for his sentencing. They would not go on camera but tell me they're just happy this nightmare is over.

The 56-year-old Gary, Minnesota man was found guilty of eight counts of criminal sexual conduct and one count of soliciting a child for sex... And now, will spend most of his life in prison.

James Brue/Norman County Attorney: "Thirty years is a long sentence. Thirty years is the statutory max."

Court documents say the sex crimes happened numerous times last summer, over a three-month span.

His victims- one male and one female.. Both between the ages of 13 and 15.

Zahrowski would either force them to have sex with each other- or sexually assault them himself.

Brue: "These are always tough cases when you have a juvenile victim that has to testify in court. In this case where were two juvenile victims which made it especially tough. So it was a tough case and it was a good verdict and a good sentence."

…One that brings closure for both Zahrowski's victims, and their families.

Brue: "They were happy with the verdict, they're glad it's over, and they're happy with the sentence."

If Zahrowski does get out of prison, he's subject to conditional release for life.

Zahrowski must also register as a sex offender, and may have to pay restitution to the victims' families.
