Furry Friends Pet Walk Makes Tails Wag

Tails were wagging while walking for a good cause Tuesday night. The Furry Friends Pet Walk took place at Rheault Farms to raise funds for Adopt-A-Pet.

Dogs and cats were welcome to walk one and a half miles with their owners. About 150 people plus their pets showed up to support placing rescued animals in loving homes. Many of the four-legged palls were rescues themselves.

Adopt-A-Pet Vice President, Barb Gagnon, says, “A lot of these animals that come here were former rescues through Adopt-A-Pet or they've helped out in other areas for us, so it's fun to see it's a reunion for a lot of alumni for adopt-a-pet.”

If you'd like to check out what kind of cats and dogs are available through Adopt-A-Pet, you can do so by visiting their website.
