Former Valley City State University football player found guilty of murder and attempted murder
Minneapolis, MN (WDAY TV) - A former Valley City State University Football player has been convicted of killing another man outside a Minneapolis night club.
A Hennepin county jury found 22-year-old Cedric Chappell Junior guilty of murder and attempted murder of the September gunfight.
One man was killed and another was wounded in the shooting.
Chappell was arrested four days after the shooting while at VCSU football practice.
Chappell will be sentenced in September.
