Fill your gas tanks up now; gas prices could be on the rise next week in the metro
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Fill up that tank now, gas prices could jump 5 to 10 cents a gallon next week.
That's according to GasBuddy.com, an online company that tracks fuel prices in real time.
They say issues with refineries in Kansas, Illinois, and Indiana have cut daily production in half, hiking wholesale prices.
The price for unleaded gas in Fargo is about $3.25 a gallon right now.
Nicholas Blonigen/NDSU Student "It fluctuates so often. I think part of the reason, too, it's getting close to the end of summer and I feel like gas prices always jump as everybody tries to get those last couple times out to the lake."
North Dakota and most Great Plains states are expected to be affected.
