Fargo resident John Porter and his family recently concluded the first part of a lengthy process called adoption. Months of preparation - financially, procedurally, emotionally - including emails, phone calls, bank transfers, filling out forms and more ending with receiving their new daughter, Ruby. The second part of the process - raising and loving Ruby. John joins me in studio to go through how the journey his family made unfolded.
