Fargo-Moorhead CVB wants to area to become new hotspot for international tourism
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Fargo-Moorhead wants to be a new hotspot for international tourism.
The Fargo-Moorhead Convention and Visitor's Bureau hopes a new marketing campaign will sell the idea.
The CVB is teaming up with Brand USA an organization established to curb a trend of declining international visitors to the United States.
A film crew will be in town the next few days shooting two separate videos highlighting what Fargo and Moorhead have to offer.
Nicole Holden/Fargo-Moorhead CVB: "They've gone to their LAs and their New York’s and their Vegas'. And now they're ready to come to do real America. And that's where North Dakota fits in. And the central states."
Since its inception, Brand USA takes credit for bringing 1.1 million visitors to the United States.
