Detroit Lakes Man Arrested For Stealing Pickup, Crashing It and DWI
Fargo ND 301 8th St. S. 58103

A Detroit Lakes man is in jail after allegedly stealing a vehicle, crashing it, attempting to steal another car and driving drunk. The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office says 24-year-old Jacob Syverson stole a pickup pulling a camper in Ottertail. He drove to Fergus Falls and crashed into a fire hydrant. Syverson then ran, found another pickup and broke a window. He then went to a nearby home asking for help. Syverson was then arrested and is in the Otter Tail County Jail for driving while intoxicated, motor vehicle theft and other charges. The case is still under investigation.
