Jamestown, ND (WDAY TV) - Three state champions crowned across the state of North Dakota today in legion baseball. We start in Jamestown, where Fargo was looking for back to back titles for the first time in 25 years, playing Bismarck in the final.

Bismarck won game one, so they re-chalk the diamond and play a decisive game two.

Two run home runs were a trend for Bismarck today this was their 4th of the day off the bat of Trenton Bohan 5-0 Govs in the 3rd.

Post 2 played from behind all day, in the fourth Lincoln Voss sends this pitch deep in the gap in left that gets Fargo on the board.

Later in the inning Jake Salentine does his job with a runner on third the sac fly brings Fargo within three.

Now in the 8th hoping for a late rally, Seth Tollefson takes advantage of the short porch in right for the two run shot.

But it wasn't enough. Bismarck takes the title, 9-5. Their first in 17 years! Both teams will play in the Central Plains Regional next week.
