FARGO—Yoga clothes and running gear retailer lululemon will open a store this fall in the West Acres Shopping Center. The store will move into the space formerly occupied by Wet Seal near the food court.

The news was announced Wednesday, Oct. 4, in a press release issued by Alissa Adams, West Acre's senior vice president of marketing and business. Adams said the store is one that has been requested by local shoppers for years.

According to its website, lululemon was started in 1998 in Vancouver, British Columbia by Chip Wilson as a yoga-inspired, technical athletic apparel company for women and men.

Lululemon has products for both men and women for yoga, running, cycling, training and most other sweaty pursuits.

An official opening date has not yet been set.
