CLAY COUNTY -- At least one person is dead in an early morning accident. Clay County authorities are continuing to investigate.

Fargo, Grand Forks set record low temperatures

FARGO –- Tuesday was a record cold day up and down the Red River Valley. In Fargo, a daily record low temperature was set in the early morning hours when the mercury dipped to 12 degrees, the lowest for the date since the 15 degree temperature recorded on April 15, 1935, said Jim Kaiser, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service office in Grand Forks.
